My move to Chicago was a big whirlwind. I was living in Milwaukee when I got my offer and had two weeks to pack up my life there and get settled in Chicago to start work. And it was insanely overwhelming. I had no idea where to live, how to commute and what parts of town were better than others. My dad helped me but it was like the blind leading the blind.
